Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies AgentSEO.guru uses, what they do, and how you can control them. This policy supplements, and should be read alongside, our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser. They let the site remember information about you — such as whether you're logged in — across page loads and return visits. This policy also covers similar technologies like local storage and session storage.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to work. These cannot be turned off. Used for authentication, session continuity, and security. No consent is required under GDPR or ePrivacy for strictly necessary cookies.

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use AgentSEO so we can improve it. Set via Google Tag Manager and loaded only with your consent.

Marketing

Used to measure the effectiveness of ads and personalize content on third-party platforms. We currently don't run large-scale advertising campaigns, but this category is included for transparency. Loaded only with your consent.

3. Cookies we set directly

That is the only cookie the AgentSEO application itself sets. We also use browser localStorage to remember two things locally on your device: your cookie-consent choice (agentseo:consent) and short-lived UI state (post-login redirect target, pending checkout flags). These are never transmitted to our servers.

4. Cookies set by third parties (with your consent)

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-KZRB823R) to manage analytics tags. With analytics consent, Google Analytics may set the following cookies:

We use Google Consent Mode V2. Until you accept analytics cookies, these tags run in "denied" mode and do not drop identifying cookies. See Google's privacy policy.

Stripe (payment processing)

Stripe cookies are only set when you interact with the checkout flow. They are necessary to process your payment safely. See Stripe's cookie policy.

5. Google Fonts

We load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts does not set cookies, but the font request does expose your IP address and Referer header to Google on page load. This is considered functional and loads regardless of consent choice because the site's typography depends on it.

6. The AI Traffic Tracking product

Our AI Traffic Tracking feature (the /t/snippet/*.js script that AgentSEO customers install on their websites) is intentionally cookieless. It does not use cookies or localStorage to identify visitors. Sessions are fingerprinted in memory from a hashed combination of site ID, day, truncated IP (/24 for IPv4, /48 for IPv6), and user-agent. It respects DNT and Sec-GPC browser signals. If you are a customer deploying the snippet on your own site, you can reference this policy when updating your own privacy notices.

7. How to manage your preferences

You can change your consent choice any time:

• Use the Manage cookie preferences button above (or the link in the site footer).
• Clear site data for agentseo.guru in your browser settings — we'll re-prompt on your next visit.
• Block cookies at the browser level — note this may break login and checkout.

We re-ask for your consent every 12 months.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor the DNT and Sec-GPC signals in our AI Traffic Tracking product. For the AgentSEO marketing site itself, these signals are treated as a preference against analytics — if you send either signal, we recommend also clicking Reject all in the banner to ensure third-party tags respect your choice.

9. Children

AgentSEO is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly set cookies on devices belonging to children under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date when we add or remove cookies. Material changes (new categories or new third parties) will trigger a fresh consent prompt.
