AgentSEO.guru ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at agentseo.guru. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we collect your name, email address, and profile information provided by your authentication provider (such as Google or Replit). We use this to identify your account, manage your purchases, and communicate with you about your service.
Website Analysis Data
When you submit a URL for scanning, we crawl the publicly accessible pages of that website and collect data including page content, HTML structure, metadata, discovery files (llms.txt, agent.json, etc.), and structured data. This information is used to generate your AI Readiness Score and discovery files.
Google Analytics Data (Optional)
If you connect your Google Analytics account, we request read-only access to your GA4 properties via OAuth 2.0. We access traffic data including sessions, page views, traffic sources, and top pages. We store periodic snapshots of this data to display in your dashboard. We do not modify your Google Analytics configuration or data. You can disconnect Google Analytics at any time from your Integrations page.
Google Search Console Data (Optional)
If you connect your Google Search Console account, we request read-only access via OAuth 2.0. We access search performance data including queries, impressions, clicks, and average position. We do not modify your Search Console configuration. You can disconnect at any time.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID, payment status, purchase amount, and transaction identifiers to manage your account and purchases.
Usage Data
We automatically collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, referring pages, and timestamps. We use this data for security, debugging, and service improvement.
AI Traffic Tracking Data (Optional, Customer Sites)
If you are a paying AgentSEO customer and install our AI Traffic Tracking snippet on your website, we receive anonymous visit and event data from your site's visitors. The snippet is cookieless. We do not store raw IP addresses — IPv4 is truncated to /24 and IPv6 to /48 before a per-site, per-day session fingerprint is computed via SHA-256. The snippet respects DNT and Sec-GPC browser signals and silently skips visitors who send them. Known AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Googlebot, etc.) are rejected and never counted. Raw property values you pass to agentseoTrack() are scrubbed for email, phone, credit-card, and password patterns before storage. Retention is plan-based: 30 days (Starter), 180 days (Pro), 365 days (Agency).
You are the data controller for your site's visitor data. We act as a data processor on your behalf. You remain responsible for disclosing this collection in your own privacy policy and, where required, obtaining any consent.
Analytics & Tag Management (AgentSEO.guru itself)
On the AgentSEO marketing site and dashboard, we load Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KZRB823R). With your analytics consent, GTM loads Google Analytics 4, which sets _ga, _gid, and _ga_KZRB823R cookies to measure aggregate usage. We default all Google Consent Mode V2 signals to "denied" and only grant them after you click Accept all (or enable Analytics) in our cookie banner. Fonts
We load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but the request exposes your IP address to Google. This is treated as a functional dependency of the site's typography.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide our services: Scan websites, generate AI discovery files, calculate scores, and display results.
- Process transactions: Manage purchases, subscriptions, and refunds via Stripe.
- Display analytics: Show your Google Analytics and Search Console data in your dashboard (when connected).
- Improve the service: Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve scanning accuracy and product features.
- Communicate: Send transactional emails related to your account, purchases, or subscription changes.
- Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Stripe: For payment processing.
- Google APIs: When you explicitly connect your Google Analytics or Search Console accounts. Data flows through Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol with your authorization.
- AI model providers: We send website content (not your personal data) to AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) to generate enhanced analysis files. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
4. Google API Services - Limited Use Disclosure
AgentSEO.guru's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, we:
- Only use Google user data to provide and improve the features you explicitly authorize (analytics dashboard display).
- Do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with adequate data protection.
- Do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
- Do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your affirmative agreement, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure infrastructure. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
- Analysis data: Scan results are retained for as long as your account is active.
- OAuth tokens: Stored while your integration is connected. Deleted when you disconnect.
- Analytics snapshots: Retained for up to 12 months for historical dashboard display.
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion at any time.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Disconnect any third-party integrations (Google Analytics, Search Console) at any time.
- Export your scan results and generated files.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing.

8. Cookies & Consent Management
AgentSEO uses a minimal set of cookies. The full inventory, durations, and categories are documented in our Cookie Policy. In summary:
- Strictly necessary:
connect.sid(authentication session, HttpOnly/Secure/SameSite=Lax, 7 days). Cannot be disabled. - Analytics (opt-in):
_ga,_ga_KZRB823R,_gidset by Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager. - Payment (loaded only during checkout):
__stripe_mid,__stripe_sid. - Local storage (never transmitted):
agentseo:consent(your consent choice), short-lived UI state keys.
We use Google Consent Mode V2 with all consent signals defaulting to "denied". Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you accept via the cookie banner. You can change your choice any time using the Cookie preferences link in our footer or by visiting agentseo.guru/?manage-cookies=1. We re-prompt every 12 months.
The AI Traffic Tracking snippet is cookieless and does not use localStorage for visitor identification (see Section 1 above).
9. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we process personal data on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:

International transfers: Some sub-processors (Stripe, Google) may process data in the United States. We rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses and each provider's own adequacy mechanisms.
10. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collect and for what purposes
- Right to access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any CCPA right, email support@agentseo.guru with the subject "CCPA Request". We will verify your identity via the email address on file and respond within 45 days.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the information promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
